With the foundation of this image being Galations 5:22-25 I tried to create something that captured what that passage of scripture was all about. The word used in that scripture or love is the Greek word agape which speaks of a self sacrificing love. And this type of love embodies all the other attributes displayed when one walks by the spirit and not by the flesh. So I look at the fruit of the Spirit like an orange. There is one fruit but when you peel back the outer skin you see that it is made up of multiple pieces. Likewise, agape love is made up of characteristics such as peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. However before one can walk by the spirit they must first be I dwelled by the Holy Spirit through faith in the biblical description of who Jesus Christ is and his atoning work on the cross and His physical resurrection. So the red and blue represents the blood and water that poured out if the side of Christ when He was pierced by the spear when He hung upon the cross.
