Greg Grease – Rip Well

“Rip Well” comes to us with heavy heart as the joint is inspired by the senseless violence in Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Atlanta and many other metropolises. He finished the track a week or so before losing a dear friend Abulle Elmi. Elmi, aka Free One, was a member of Greg Grease’s crew The Usual Suspects and a Minneapolis resident who had moved to Toronto a few years ago to escape the growing madness in Minneapolis.

“Rip Well” comes off of Greg Grease’s pre-release series of joints called Cornbreads Coming leading up to the release of his full-length, Cornbread , Earl & G, that will drop this fall.
